About Us

Who are we

We’re a small, young business based in Brisbane, Australia. Just a bunch of mates having a go—creating the kind of products we’d want in our own homes and building a business around the values that matter to us. We started BBD four years ago because we couldn’t find what we were looking for, so we thought, why not do it ourselves? No big corporate fluff—just real people, making quality doors and hardware, and treating our customers the way we’d want to be treated. Honest, organised, and always giving it our best. Plus, we make sure our team enjoys their work, feels supported, and prioritises their mental health. We’re here to do things differently, and we’re just getting started.

“Love your work”

Thank you so very much! Our new Tassie Oak barn door is stunning and a real statement as you through the front door.

Hubby asked that I don’t send him a picture. He wants to wait till he gets home. I’m 100% sure he will be as stunned by the amazing craftsmanship and thoroughly professional install.

Debbie

Just wanted to thank you for the great service and product you provided. The door has been installed and we are extremely pleased with it. You should be proud of the two young guys that carried out the work. Did a professional job, touched up everything and cleaned up after themselves. I can only commend them on the quality of the work and the fact they were also extremely polite.
